Max International Fitness Room Rules
Prezentul regulament stabilește condițiile de acces și utilizare a Sălii de Fitness din cadrul Complexului Turistic Max International („Sala de Fitness”). Prin accesarea sau utilizarea Sălii de Fitness, oaspeții și clienții declară că au citit, înțeles și acceptă acest regulament, împreună cu Politicile de cazare, Termenii și condițiile și celelalte politici ale Max International.
I. General provisions, opening hours and room profile
Purpose of the Fitness Room
The Fitness Room is intended for physical fitness activities, recreational sport and individual training, using the machines and equipment provided by Max International. The room is not a medical clinic and does not offer medical rehabilitation services in a clinical sense.
Opening hours
The opening hours of the Fitness Room may vary according to the season, occupancy levels and internal policy. The current schedule is displayed on the website, at reception and at the entrance to the room.
Equipment and facilities
The Fitness Room may include, but is not limited to:
- cardio machines (bikes, treadmills, steppers, etc.);
- strength machines and free weights;
- stretching and functional training areas.
The list of facilities may be updated from time to time, depending on the equipment available and on maintenance work.
II. Access, minimum age and types of guests
Minimum age
- The Fitness Room is intended primarily for people aged 16 and over.
- Children under this age may be admitted only in exceptional cases, accompanied and supervised at all times by a parent or guardian, and only on the equipment approved by our staff, according to their age and physical condition.
Guests staying at the hotel
- Guests staying at the Max International Complex may enjoy free access to the Fitness Room, in line with their accommodation package and the terms displayed at reception or in the room / offer description.
- The access conditions (opening hours, number of people, period, any limitations) are communicated at check-in and may vary according to the season or occupancy levels.
External guests (not staying at the hotel)
- Guests who are not staying at the hotel may use the Fitness Room with a membership or a single-entry pass, purchased:
- directly at reception or
- through the Shop / Memberships section of the website (Wix Stores).
- The types of membership, their duration, the terms of use and the prices are displayed in the online shop or at reception and may be updated from time to time.
III. Memberships, external access and bookings
Memberships and single-session access
- Memberships and single-session access are service products that can be purchased online (through the website shop) or directly at reception.
- Each type of membership comes with clear terms regarding: the validity period, the number of entries, the permitted time slots and any restrictions.
Validity and use
- Memberships are personal and non-transferable, except where the terms of sale expressly provide otherwise.
- Failure to use a membership in full within its validity period does not give any right to a refund, an extension or compensation, unless this is expressly provided for in the commercial terms of the membership.
Bookings and access limits
- The Fitness Room may operate with capacity limits (a maximum number of people at any one time), in line with regulations and safety requirements.
- Max International reserves the right to limit access temporarily or to require bookings for certain time slots, in order to avoid overcrowding.
IV. Safety and use of the equipment
User responsibility
- Everyone using the Fitness Room is responsible for assessing their own physical capacity and for using the equipment correctly, gradually and within the limits of their own physical condition.
- We recommend seeking medical advice beforehand, especially for people with cardiac, respiratory or orthopaedic conditions or other health problems.
Instructions for use
- The equipment and machines must be used in accordance with the instructions displayed or explained by authorised staff.
- Adjusting the machines beyond the recommended limits, or using them for purposes other than those they are intended for, is not permitted.
Accidents and damage
- Max International cannot be held liable for injuries resulting from:
- disregarding the instructions for using the machines;
- deliberate overexertion;
- failure to declare pre-existing medical conditions;
- reckless or negligent behaviour.
- Any damage to the machines, the equipment or the premises of the Fitness Room caused by negligence or improper use may give rise to an obligation to compensate for that damage, in accordance with internal findings and the applicable procedures (including those involving the insurance company).
V. Clothing, hygiene and conduct
Appropriate clothing
- Access to the Fitness Room is permitted only with:
- suitable sportswear (T-shirt, sports trousers, etc.);
- clean indoor sports shoes, used exclusively inside the room.
- Training in outdoor sandals, barefoot (except for any special classes, where offered and announced separately) or in unsuitable clothing is not permitted.
Personal hygiene
- Guests are kindly asked to observe personal hygiene standards, to use their own towels or those provided by the hotel and to clean/wipe down the machines after use, where applicable.
- Access is not permitted immediately after consuming alcohol or any substance that may affect coordination or judgement.
Conduct in the room
- The following are prohibited:
- dropping weights on the floor;
- occupying machines for long periods without actually using them;
- any aggressive, vulgar or disruptive behaviour towards others.
- Background music is managed by our staff; the use of personal speakers or of phones at high volume is not permitted.
Max International reserves the right to ask anyone who does not comply with these rules to leave the Fitness Room and, where appropriate, to limit their future access.
VI. Final provisions
Max International reserves the right to amend these Fitness Room Rules whenever necessary, in line with legal requirements, internal policy or operating conditions.
The current version of the rules is available on the official website www.maxinternational.ro and at the hotel reception.
The Fitness Room Rules apply together with:
- the Accommodation Policies;
- the Wellness & Spa Rules;
- the General Terms and Conditions;
- the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy of Max International.
