Max International Restaurant Rules

These rules apply to access to and use of the Max International Restaurant (the “Restaurant”), including the indoor dining areas and any related spaces served by the Restaurant's kitchen. By making a reservation or simply using the Restaurant's services, guests accept and undertake to observe the provisions below, together with the Accommodation Policies, the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy of Max International.

I. General provisions, opening hours and reservations

Opening hours
The Restaurant schedule may vary depending on the season, the occupancy level and the events organised within the complex. The current opening hours are displayed on the website, at the entrance to the Restaurant and, where applicable, on the Google Business profiles or other online platforms.

Table reservations – holding window
- Reservations can be made by telephone, online or on site, subject to availability.
- For standard reservations, the table is held for a 15-minute window from the booked time.
- If the customer is more than 15 minutes late without giving notice, the Restaurant reserves the right to reallocate the table to other guests.

Length of stay at the table
- During peak periods (weekends, public holidays, special events), we reserve the right to set a maximum time for the use of the table, communicated at the time of booking or on arrival, so that we can serve all our guests properly.

II. Consumption, conduct and products brought from outside

Food and drink
- Food and drink in the Restaurant may be consumed exclusively from the Max International menu.
- It is strictly forbidden to bring in and consume food and drinks from outside on the Restaurant's premises, except in cases approved in advance in writing (for example, birthday cake, special medical cases, etc.).
- For products accepted from outside on an exceptional basis, the Hotel reserves the right to charge a service / handling fee.

Conduct and language
- Guests are kindly asked to behave in a civilised manner, with respect towards other customers and towards our staff.
- Aggressive, violent or offensive behaviour, or behaviour that may cause serious discomfort to those nearby, is not permitted.
- In such situations, we reserve the right to stop service and to ask the customer to leave the Restaurant.

Noise and disturbing other guests
- Please avoid taking phone calls on speaker, playing music at high volume or other behaviour that disrupts the normal running of the Restaurant.
- In the case of noisy groups, our staff may ask for the volume to be lowered or for the group to move to a more suitable area, if one is available.

III. Group reservations, deposits and cancellations

Group reservations
- For group reservations (for example, from a certain number of people or tables – depending on the arrangements), the Restaurant may require:
- a written order/confirmation to be signed;
- payment of a deposit to guarantee the reservation.
- The exact conditions (amount, payment deadline, chosen menu, guaranteed minimum number, etc.) are established on a case-by-case basis and communicated in writing, by offer or confirmation.

Cancelling standard reservations
- For individual reservations (regular tables), cancellation or rescheduling can be done by phone or online, depending on the channel through which the reservation was made.
- During certain busy periods or for special occasions (Easter, Christmas, New Year's Eve, themed events), special cancellation conditions may apply and will be communicated in advance.

Cancelling group reservations
- For group reservations and/or events held in the Restaurant, the cancellation and penalty conditions are set out in the offer or the related contract.
- In the absence of special conditions, the deposit may become non-refundable after a certain deadline (for example, 14 days before the event date), which will be expressly stated in the confirmation.

No-show
- If the customer or group does not arrive at the agreed time and does not notify us of the cancellation or delay, the reservation may be cancelled automatically and the deposit (where one exists) may be retained, in accordance with the conditions communicated.

IV. Children, allergens and hygiene rules

Children in the Restaurant
- Children are welcome in the Restaurant, provided they are accompanied and supervised at all times by an adult.
- Please make sure that children do not run between the tables, play in the service areas or go near hazardous areas (steps, service doors, etc.).

Allergens and dietary restrictions
- The menu may contain allergenic ingredients (for example: gluten, lactose, eggs, nuts, seeds, fish, seafood, etc.).
- Please inform our staff before ordering if you have any food allergies or intolerances, so that we can check the available options and minimise the risks.
- Within the limits of technical and organisational possibilities, our kitchen can adapt some dishes, but cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergen traces.

Hygiene and dress code
- Please observe general hygiene standards and dress appropriately for a restaurant.
- Access may be refused to persons who are heavily intoxicated or whose dress/behaviour is inappropriate for a restaurant environment.

V. Damage, liability and final provisions

Material damage
- Any damage caused to Restaurant property (furniture, tableware, equipment, decorations, etc.) through the fault of guests or their companions may be charged to the person responsible / the reservation holder.
- The value of the damage may be determined on the basis of an internal assessment, cost estimates or, where applicable, in cooperation with the complex's insurance company.

Refusal of service
- The Restaurant reserves the right to refuse service or to discontinue services in the case of:
- persons who are intoxicated or under the influence of prohibited substances;
- aggressive or offensive behaviour, or behaviour that endangers the safety of our staff and other guests;
- repeated breaches of these rules.

Final provisions
- Max International reserves the right to amend these Restaurant rules whenever necessary, depending on applicable legislation, seasonality and internal policy.
- The updated version will be available on the official website www.maxinternational.ro and on request, in the Restaurant or at the hotel reception.
- These rules apply together with:
- the Accommodation Policies;
- the Panoramic Terrace Rules;
