The Wellness & Spa profile  
The Wellness & Spa area is intended exclusively for relaxation, recovery and preventive or comfort treatments (massages, relaxation therapies, sauna, jacuzzi, etc.). No medical treatment in the clinical sense is provided, and the services are not a substitute for a consultation or for treatment prescribed by a physician.

Opening hours  
The Wellness & Spa schedule may vary depending on the season, the occupancy level and the type of services. The current opening hours are displayed on the website, at reception and at the entrance to the Wellness & Spa area.

Available services  
The services offered may include, without being limited to:  
- access to the sauna and jacuzzi area;  
- massage sessions and body therapies;  
- themed Spa packages;  
- other relaxation services, as set out in the service menu or in Wix Bookings.  

The current list of services and their conditions (duration, price, contraindications) can be found on the service pages and in the online booking engine.
 

Access to Wellness & Spa  
Access is granted to guests who have made a booking or who have been given access under an accommodation package, membership or voucher, subject to available capacity.

Minimum age and accompanied minors  
- Children and minors may enter the Wellness & Spa area only if they are accompanied and supervised at all times by an adult (a parent, guardian or other adult companion).  
- For certain facilities (for example the sauna or the jacuzzi) additional recommendations or age limits may apply, for safety and health reasons. These are displayed on site or communicated by our staff.

Right to refuse access  
Wellness & Spa staff may refuse or restrict access to anyone who:  
- shows clear signs of a contagious condition (skin, respiratory or similar);  
- is heavily intoxicated or under the influence of prohibited substances;  
- behaves inappropriately or in a way that is dangerous to themselves or to other guests.
 

Booking massages and Spa treatments  
- Massages and Spa treatments are provided by prior appointment, booked online (through Wix Bookings), by telephone or at reception.  
- Each service has a standard duration (for example 30 / 50 / 80 minutes), confirmed at the time of booking.

Arrival and late arrivals  
- Guests are asked to arrive a few minutes before the appointment time, so that any forms can be completed and you can prepare for the session.  
- If you arrive late, the session may be shortened in order to keep to the following appointments, without any reduction in the price.

Cancellations and rescheduling  
- The conditions for cancelling, rescheduling and any applicable charges are shown on each service page and in the online booking system.  
- As a rule, to avoid charges, cancellations must be made a set period before the appointment time; the exact period is confirmed when you book.  
- Different cancellation terms may apply to special packages or peak periods, as set out in the offer.
 

Health conditions and contraindications  
- Certain services and facilities in the Wellness & Spa area (for example: sauna, jacuzzi, intensive massages, heat treatments) may be contraindicated for people with certain conditions: cardiovascular disease, severe hypertension, dermatological conditions, pregnancy, respiratory conditions, epilepsy, infectious diseases, etc.  
- Every client is responsible for assessing their own state of health and for seeking a physician's advice before using such facilities or services.

Client declaration  
By entering the Wellness & Spa area and booking a service:  
- the client declares that their state of health allows them to use the chosen facilities;  
- the client understands and accepts that the services offered are wellness/relaxation services and do not constitute medical procedures;  
- the client assumes responsibility for any failure to disclose relevant health problems.

Limitation of liability  
Max International and its staff cannot be held liable for the worsening of pre-existing medical conditions or for adverse effects resulting from a failure to observe the usage recommendations or the displayed contraindications, or from the absence of a prior medical consultation where one would have been necessary.
 

Dress code and personal hygiene  
- The Wellness & Spa area may only be entered in appropriate attire (swimwear, bathrobe, indoor slippers), in line with the displayed instructions.  
- Guests are kindly asked to shower before using the sauna, the jacuzzi or other shared facilities.  
- Access is not permitted to persons with open wounds, contagious skin conditions or other conditions that could endanger the hygiene and health of others.

Conduct in the quiet area  
- The Wellness & Spa area is a space for relaxation; guests are asked to keep their voices low and to avoid loud noise or the disruptive use of telephones.  
- Games, running, jumping into the jacuzzi and any other activities that could cause accidents or discomfort to other guests are not permitted.

Proper use of the facilities  
- The equipment and installations (sauna, jacuzzi, loungers, showers, accessories) must be used with care, in accordance with the instructions given by our staff or displayed on site.  
- Any damage to equipment caused by negligence or improper use may give rise to an obligation to compensate for that damage, in line with internal assessments and/or the procedures agreed with the insurance company.  
- Our staff reserve the right to suspend the use of a facility in the event of non-compliance with these rules or for safety reasons (technical servicing, sanitising, incidents).
 

Max International reserves the right to amend these Wellness & Spa Rules whenever necessary, in line with legal requirements, internal policy and seasonality.

The current version of the rules will be available on the official website www.maxinternational.ro and may be consulted at the hotel reception or at the entrance to the Wellness & Spa area.

The Wellness & Spa Rules apply together with:  
- the Accommodation Policies;  
- the Restaurant Rules;  
- the Club & Gaming Rules;  
- the General Terms and Conditions;  
- the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy of Max International.
