Terms and Conditions for Max International Vouchers and Gift Packages

• Vouchers and gift packages are issued with a standard validity period of 12 months from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated on the voucher or in the offer.
• Once the validity period has expired, the voucher may no longer be used and is not eligible for a refund.
• Vouchers are, as a rule, transferable to another person, provided that the same terms and conditions are observed.
• Vouchers are issued in lei (RON). For special campaigns or international sales, a value in another currency may also be displayed, for information purposes only.

• The voucher may be used only once, for a single stay / service, up to the value stated or the services included in the package.
• Vouchers are not convertible into cash and may not be used to purchase other vouchers.
• Where the value of the services used exceeds the value of the voucher, the difference is payable on site, in accordance with the rates in force.
• Where the value of the services is lower than the value of the voucher, the difference is neither refunded nor carried over.
• The voucher applies only to the eligible services stated in the description (for example: accommodation only, accommodation + breakfast, SPA package, etc.).
• Bookings made using vouchers are additionally subject to the booking, cancellation and no-show policies for the type of service reserved (accommodation, restaurant, spa, events, etc.).

For online purchases of vouchers / gift packages we comply with the European rules on distance contracts, including the 14-day right of withdrawal, insofar as the statutory exceptions do not apply (for example, services with a specified fixed date or services already provided).
• Within 14 days of purchase, the Client may request the cancellation and refund of the value of the voucher, provided that it has not been used or booked for a fixed date and provided that the law permits this.
• Once use of the services has begun (e.g. check-in completed, Spa access used, booking honoured), the voucher can no longer be cancelled or refunded.
• Any change of date for bookings made with a voucher is possible subject to availability and may be subject to rate differences if the period chosen carries higher prices.
• For clarification on particular situations (seasonality, promotional packages, non-refundable offers), the conditions displayed at the time of purchase and/or those communicated in the booking confirmation shall apply.

• • Max International reserves the right to amend these conditions for vouchers and gift packages; the updated version will be published on the official website.
  • In the event of suspected fraud, misuse or breach of the internal regulations, we reserve the right to refuse to accept a voucher or gift package, with notice to the Client.
  • These conditions are supplemented by the website Terms and Conditions, the Accommodation Policy, the internal regulations (Restaurant, Club, Spa, Fitness, etc.) and by the applicable legislation in force.
